WP Hooked has been dormant for quite a while, but we think there's a real need for a meetup which focusses on Developers and looks at WordPress as a programming platform.

We want to meet the people whose interactions with WP are more through a text editor than the admin interface. We want to bounce around ideas about code quality and development practices, about test automation and security - that sort of thing.

To kick things off we'd love to get everyone together for a drinkup: an opportunity to meet other WP devs and talk about what future meetups should involve.
