This week, as part of our inspiring urban dialogues series, we welcome architect and urban planner Klas Groth, a key figure in urban planning and design at UN-Habitat. Groth will provide an introduction to UN-Habitat, followed by an in-depth discussion on the organization's work, with a particular focus on urban planning and design. The event will take place at İskele on Wednesday, September 4th at 19.00.

Klas Groth is a senior urban planner at the Urban Lab within UN-Habitat's headquarters in Nairobi. Throughout his career with UN-Habitat, whether working in international or national contexts, his primary focus has been on finding pathways to sustainable urbanization. Groth has participated in various urban consultancy projects and has significant experience with the Stockholm City Planning Administration in Sweden. He holds qualifications in urban planning and design and is registered with the Swedish Association of Architects.
