Design Library Meetings | Extreme Architecture TUDelft • Job Schroën & Joost Woertman 

will be the guest of Design Library Meetings on May edition. The instructors from the TU Delft Master Program EXTREME Architecture, will be giving a speech about EXTREME. The program deals with integral design in extreme environments and aims to make students aware of their technical and architectural design choices. The goal of the EXTREME program is to encourage students to make conscious design decisions. The event will take place at 19.00 on Wednesday, May 1st at İskele.


Job Schroën is an architect and at TU Delft he teaches at the chair of Architectural Engineering where he leads the ‘Seismic Graduation Studio’. Moreover, Schroën is founder of September Architectuur. He worked on many complex buildings, museums (Fries Museum in Leeuwarden, Brabants Museum in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, Anne Frank Museum in Amsterdam) and concert buildings (Metropool in Hengelo, Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam).


Joost Woertman studied at TU Delft. Since establishing his own studio in 2010, he has undertaken various architectural projects ranging from new buildings to transformations, from homes to interior spaces, and even custom furniture. Additionally, since 2016, he has served as a guest lecturer in the "Architectural Engineering" department at TU Delft, overseeing a studio of 15 students as a design instructor.
