18.45 Talks | Sustainability at its Heart: Urbanism • The upcoming guest of 18.45 inspirational talks is Antonio Rovira, Associate Director at Cities Consulting in Buro Happold, UK. His presentation will focus on how sustainability lies at the core of urbanism in order to shape cities into vibrant, resilient, and inclusive spaces for generations to thrive, with a focus on master plans, integrated development plans for spatial planning. Antonio is a RIBA Architect and urban planner, with 10 years of experience in leading strategic urban and regional development projects across multiple geographies. His expertise is in spatial planning, sustainable urban development, and urban socioeconomics, with a focus on achieving sustainability, resilience, and inclusive growth. He completed his MSc in Sustainable Urban Development from the Bartlett School of Planning (2017), in addition to Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (2021). Antonio designed several master plan projects such as the new SKY campus in Osterlay, London and Heathrow’s Terminal 5 landside masterplan. He is working in Buro Happold, United Kingdom  recently, on Integrated Development Plans, Transit Oriented Development Plans and urban scale master plans in varied scales as Associate Director as Associate Director on Cities Consulting.
