This time we'll visit the Eno River State Park and try the Cox Mountain 4.1 miles blue trail. They list this as a moderate hike. (most of the hikes at Eno River State Park are listed as easy.) I have not done this hike before so it might be a bit of an adventure. :) Here's the write up from their website:
Begin this loop trail in the Fews Ford picnic area. The hike can be lengthened by adding the Fanny’s Ford Trail loop, which intersects from the northeast. The trail passes beside the picnic area, heads down to the river and crosses the river on a suspension foot bridge. The trail climbs 270 feet in elevation from the river to the hilltop. A long steep climb and descent is required. I'll wear a blue cap that says Merida
