Change is inevitable in everyone's life, however, in the context of a mixed race experience, some aspects can hit different.

Leaving behind what you know when you feel as part of a community, 'in between' distinct cultures or as the 'only one' in a bigger group comes with unique lessons.

And, with identity being a fluid concept, some can take us by surprise.
