Hi everyone!

Clever Cloud, a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) company based in Europe and official Friend of Rust, is in town for Devoxx France, and their team wants to get to know the Rust Paris community and talk about their experiences with Rust.

So, they are graciously hosting a meetup next week!

(Note: This event is not taking place at the Mozilla office; the venue is "The Family", in the 4th arrondisement.)

I asked them to describe the event; here's the evening's agenda, in their own words:

Hey fellow rustaceans!

The Clever Cloud team is in town, and we would be delighted to see you and talk about Rust and networks on Tuesday, April 4th at The Family, 25 rue du Petit Musc ( https://goo.gl/maps/YZF9B9HAM7R2 ), at 7PM.

We will cover some lessons learned building networking tools and protocols in Rust, and will see how the different libraries fit together to:

• build a fast server with mio

• make a futures based protocol client with tokio and nom

• use rocket for microservices

This event welcomes everybody, beginners included, and follows the Rust

Code of Conduct

. It will be followed by some drinks and the usual topic discussions.
