The Google way of DevOps: Site Reliability Engineering

Site Realiability Engineering is a hot topic. According to Ben Treynor, Google's VP of Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering is fundamentally doing work that has historically been done by an operations team, but using engineers with software expertise, and banking on the fact that these engineers are inherently both predisposed to, and have the ability to, substitute automation for human labor. We're honored to host Binx.io's resident genius Cloud Consultant, Mark van Holsteijn. Mark is an expert in general awesomeness, currently deeply involved in Docker and cloud technologies, and a Site Reliability Engineer avant la lettre. Mark tends to automate the shit out of everything, be it software development, testing, training, or operations. Mostly because it's helpful or necessary, but sometimes just to prove it's possible. ## Program
