Tonight's presentation is by Flora Macleod and is about Domain Name System (DNS) - converting domain names to IP addresses.
Covering DNS with a high level overview of domain extensions and how domains are converted to IP addresses which will then route you to a website.

We will have a meal beforehand across the street from SDS at Kool Runnings from 5.30pm.

Our group is an informal and friendly setting for chat about all types of web/design/branding-related stuff. It's a good place for techy people of all kinds to get together, socialise and network. All welcome.
