Community Conduct Guidelines
Our community is committed to fostering a harassment-free and inclusive atmosphere for everyone, irrespective of identity or personal characteristics. Harassment or discrimination in any form will not be tolerated. Any violations of our guidelines will be treated seriously and addressed accordingly.
Every participant of our events, either in-person or online, including staff, speakers, and attendees, is expected to:
- Maintain Respect: Acknowledge the right of everyone to be part of this community. Any form of communication should be free from demeaning content or conduct, either blatant or subtly offensive (micro-aggressions).
- Speak Up: If you witness or experience any disrespectful behavior, you are encouraged to address it. The offending party may not be aware of their inappropriate behavior, and a polite confrontation could help rectify it.
We maintain a STRICT NO-TOLERANCE POLICY towards any form of harassment, such as stalking, intimidation, offensive comments, unwelcome physical or sexual attention, etc. This policy applies to all aspects including but not limited to: neurodiversity, race, color, national origin, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, age, body size, disabilities, appearance, religion, pregnancy, military status, and social demographic.
Any participant asked to cease any harassing behavior must comply immediately. Violations of our Community Conduct Guidelines and Anti-Harassment Policy will be thoroughly reviewed and met with appropriate actions. If any behavior makes you uncomfortable, please report it to the event organizers.
