Join us for an afternoon of extraordinary music as we gather to witness the immense talent of Juilliard’s Pre-College Division pianists! Let’s meet at The Juilliard School, 155 W. 65th St., New York, NY 10023, to attend the Pre-College Piano Performance Forum, where some of the brightest young pianists will showcase their artistry.
In this intimate yet professional setting, we’ll experience performances that highlight both technical mastery and profound musical expression. The students, aged 8 to 18, will perform a variety of works ranging from timeless classics by Bach, Beethoven, and Chopin to contemporary or lesser-known pieces that surprise and delight. These forums are known for their incredible quality, offering us a rare chance to hear these rising stars in a concert hall renowned for its exceptional acoustics.
We’ll immerse ourselves in a program that not only entertains but also inspires, as the performers bring challenging and dynamic repertoire to life. This free event is a perfect opportunity to enjoy music at the highest level while supporting the next generation of great artists.
Let’s meet 20 minutes before the show starts in the lobby to grab seats together and enjoy the concert as a group. Whether you're a music lover, an aspiring musician, or simply curious about Juilliard’s world-class training, this is an event not to be missed.
We look forward to sharing this unforgettable musical experience with you!
Afterwards we will walk to Francesco's Pizzeria at 186 Columbus Ave for optional late lunch.
