Talk: Deep Space Photography under light pollution

Hi, let us host again a presentation, this time on taking astrophotos from non-rural areas. Bob is an active amateur astronomer living (and photographing) within Berlin.

ABSTRACT:
I’ll give a short introduction to common Astrophotography, wrapping up each different technique and then I will specialize in how to achieve great deep space shots without having to drive into the countryside. So actually it’s imaging the universe from a windowsill in the middle of Berlin.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Bob is an advanced deep space astrophotographer, with a proven track record of 6 years of hard trial and error in fighting light pollution and shooting from the most unthankful locations. When not collecting data and processing, he's working as a creative director at a Berlin based film distribution. He's passionate about hard sci-fi literature and 3d printing.

NOTE: This event is kostenlos, but I'd kindly ask you to get a beer or drink from the fridge (2€), to support the co.up space.

PS: The cover photo (bubble nebula, NGC7635) is by the speaker.

Thanks
