SESSION 1 - Unleashing the full potential of XM Cloud personalization with Sitecore Personalize (45 mins) - Rodrigo Peplau and José Neto
Sitecore Personalize seamlessly integrates with any CMS, but it's the union with XM Cloud that unleashes unprecedented advantages. The convenience of quickly installing Personalize into your XM Cloud website and configuring page-level personalization are some examples.

But what if you need component-level personalization? Currently, there’s still no out-of-the-box way to achieve this with XM Cloud, so we have to rely on external tools such as Personalize. Meaning that if you need to unlock the power of decision models and the more advanced capabilities that Sitecore CDP & Personalize can offer, you have to build your own integration.

In this presentation, you will learn how to dodge this limitation and easily configure component-level personalization, integrating XM Cloud with Personalize in a very straightforward and familiar way. With the help of custom code, you will also learn how to harmoniously orchestrate experiences between Sitecore Personalize and XM Cloud, keeping things where they belong: content in the CMS and business logic in Sitecore Personalize.
 

About the Speakers: 

• Rodrigo Peplau (@SitecoreSinger) is the Head of Altudo Brazil. He works with Sitecore since 2010, and due to community initiatives such as the co-foundation of the Sitecore Usergroup Brazil (SUG-BR), multiple Sitecore modules, and posts, Rodrigo is proudly recognized as a Sitecore Technology MVP since 2016. He is also a 2x Hackathon winner with his team Go Horse. Rodrigo loves to grow Sitecore teams and individuals, with the same dedication and care as he develops precise software solutions.

• José Neto (@josenetofl) brings over 8 years of Sitecore development. graduated in Computer Science, he proceeded to obtain a post-graduate degree in Project Management. José has worked on teams spread across the globe delivering Sitecore projects and has been recognized as a Sitecore Technologist MVP since 2018.  His passions are traveling, hiking, and photography.

Sitecore Send brings excellent value to all scale businesses with its standalone API-first, composable solution. This session will bring out key features of Sitecore Send from a user perspective.. It will bring out some benefits over Sitecore Email Experience.

About the Speaker: For more than ten years I have worn different hats as project manager, scrum master, process engineer, business analyst, and validation manager. I lead teams to develop and implement websites, platforms and web applications for international clients in America, Europe and Asia. I am value delivery driven, by understanding clients' needs, aligning their organization´s strategic goals and finding where Sitecore can provide advantage over their competitors. I have worked with Sitecore for over a year an a half, and learned a lot from experience and from the community, that is why I wanted to share as a business user how Sitecore Send is an amazing platform to thrive with marketing campaigns.
