This is Part 2 of Sitecore CDP

However, if you have not had the opportunity to review at our previous session on Sitecore Smart Hub CDP from the Lens of a Beginner, we strongly recommend doing so first. In the part 1, we delved into the fundamentals and terminologies of Sitecore Smart Hub CDP, which we will be discussing in part 2 from an implementation standpoint.

This session will be a conversational demo, between a Marketing Business Leader and an Implementation Technology Leader, addressing various personalized experiences for end users. The session will showcase various use cases  that can readily be applied in real-world scenarios for customers. Importantly, we will explore how Sitecore's Composable platform can be harnessed to achieve these objectives.

Our focus will be on implementing Sitecore Smart Hub CDP in a Next JS App deployed on Vercel, and connected to Sitecore XM Cloud instance. We will see the use of Stream APIs and Engage Libraries to facilitate Server-side integration between Sitecore and CDP to fetch the experience results and display on the website. We will have a look at Full Stack and Web Experiences in action, and understand the concept of what should be used when, while implementing it for a Customer. Furthermore, we will illustrate how engagement value for a given end user can be collected in CDP, over the course of time, particularly as the user visits the website multiple times. This will be achieved through the use of extension properties of the user and creation of Personas with the help of Batch Segmentation. We will be using CDP Webhooks to update the Extension properties and Decision Models to show the Persona responses on the website.
We will also explore how to leverage end user profile data residing in CDP by configuring tokens in Sitecore and retrieving their values using the Web Experience in the headless website. This will demonstrate integration of XM Content with CDP Data.

Chirag Khanna: Chirag Khanna, a passionate Sitecore developer. He has been extensively working on Sitecore from past 8 years starting from Sitecore version 8.1. He is also an aspiring blogger and help others actively on Sitecore slack channel. He is currently working as a Technology Lead at Horizontal Digital and have been certified on all the Sitecore domains.

Varun Shringarpure: Varun Shringarpure, a developer by passion and profession, with over 13 years in Sitecore, and 9+ years in Horizontal, he has grown from a Developer to a Senior Technology Lead today. He has been a 4 time Sitecore MVP in the past. He is Certified in Sitecore from 6.2 through Sitecore 10, and in Sitecore Content Hub. He has worked on multiple industry domains, some of which include Auto Industry, Healthcare, Finance, Insurance and Consumer Products. During this tenure, he has been a part of a number of large scale Sitecore Implementations helping the clients achieve Connected Experiences for their businesses. He along with his team, partners with the customer team, and helps making strategic decisions to deliver their business goals. Staying updated with tools, technology and gadgets is his fashion. Apart from being a DIY Hobbyist making IOT devices and small electronic instruments, he is an Avid Gardener.
