Something new for SFPS: a staged reading of a new play — With God as My Neighbor, by Kermit Cole. The play follows Margaret’s obsession with finding out whether God — who has recently moved into the house next door — has a navel. She throws a pool party at which neighbors and friends (Heisenberg, Schrödinger, Nietzsche, Dante, Dave the Buddhist, Pi, Zero, Claude and others) shed light — or don’t — on the subject. The approximately 50-minute reading will be followed by a one hour discussion.
The text of the play can be found here.
Please park on the street or as far up as you can go on the gravel driveway in front of the house.
