Kotlin has been gaining more and more popularity. As a JVM language it is fairly easy to learn and more enjoyable to work with than Java. Given it's extensive feature set, it still compiles to Java 6 bytecode which means it's a great tool for Android developers in addition to enterprise Java developers. This meetup will be exploring standalone Kotlin, using Kotlin with various web frameworks, Kotlin for Android, and various other Kotlin-related topics.
