Calling all watchdogs! Our next Seattle IRE + SPJ meetup is Wednesday, April 8, starting at 5:30 at Stoup Brewing Capitol Hill (same place as last fall).

This meetup is for watchdog and investigative journalists. It's hosted by Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) and the Society of Professional Journalists' (SPJ) Western Washington Pro Chapter. 

You don’t need to be a member of IRE or SPJ — just bring yourself (and a friend or two). The first drink, once again, is on SPJ (excluding cocktails and slushies). Students are welcome; there’s no age limit to enter Stoup.

IRE is mourning the sudden passing of Executive Director Diana R. Fuentes. Interim leadership was named over the weekend, and Diana was nominated for induction into IRE’s Ring of Honor. Updates are at IRE.org.
