Join your fellow journalists for an IRE/NICAR pre-conference meetup!

Come join us on May 28th to meet new friends and catch up with existing ones in the DMV area, as we exchange ideas and shoot the breeze in a casual and inclusive setting. 

With the IRE conference only weeks away at National Harbor, it's a great chance to hang out and reconnect ahead of the event, and if you can't make it this year, to still meet some friends from around town.

We'll gather at The Red Bear Brewing Company, with its easy access for people living in different parts of the region and arriving through different means (it's one block from the NoMa-Gallaudet metro station).

Join us for a few minutes or a couple hours depending on what works for you. All are welcome!

The Red Bear offers great beer selections, a number of non-alcoholic options and a variety of food choices. Though it's a brewery there's never any expectation to partake in alcohol at the meetups — so please feel comfortable joining us just for some good conversation and socializing.
