Greetings from IRE NYC!

We hope you are having a good summer!

Join fellow NYC-area journalists for a meetup organized by Investigative Reporters & Editors in partnership with our friends at the SPJ / Deadline Club. It’s summer! We had a terrific annual conference last month in suburban Washington, D.C. Plus a great mini-conference in January here in New York. Let’s raise a toast!

This event will be a casual happy hour at the Virgin Hotel’s Everdene indoor/outdoor rooftop bar. 1227 Broadway at W. 30th St. near Herald Square. It will run 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, July 29.

The event is free.

We'll have a dedicated space and there will be a cash bar.

Join us to mingle and talk about journalism. Reunite with old friends and meet some new ones.

You don't need to be a member of IRE -- so please bring your journalist colleagues to introduce them to us.

IRE Board Members will be on hand to answer any questions you have about the organization.

Please RSVP beforehand.
