Greetings from IRE NYC!

We hope you are having a good summer, and we are planning a meetup after Labor Day! 

Join fellow NYC-area journalists for a meetup organized by Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE). This will be in conjunction with our friends at The Deadline Club, New York's chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.

This event will be a casual happy hour at Stitch Bar in Midtown Manhattan.  247 West 37th Street, New York, between Seventh and Eighth avenues. It will run 6:30 pm to 9 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 4.

Note: We had a venue change. It is now around the corner from the original site.

The event is free.

We'll have a dedicated space, the private balcony area, and there will be a cash bar.

Join us to mingle and talk about journalism. Reunite with old friends and meet some new ones.

You don't need to be an IRE or Deadline Club member to attend, so please bring your journalist colleagues to introduce them to us.

IRE Board Members will be on hand to answer any questions you have about the organization.
