Among the substantial and insubstantial there is also substantial and insubstantial.
Just like the Tao symbol itself, the Yang (white-substantial) leg's foot has a Yin bubbling well-root and the Yin (black-insubstantial) leg's foot has a Yang bubbling well-root.
This allows control from the bubbling well points to manifest properly in the steps.
Having a double Yang leg with bubbling well, or a double Yin leg with bubbling well would also be a sign of double weightedness.
The same applies to the bubbling well points in the palms of the substantial/insubstantial arm-hands.
