Abstract: Networks have been evolving with the power of the cloud for more than a decade. AWS offers secure and seamless integration ways to amplify these networks for a better connected world. In this session, we will walk through the general internetworking principles and the practical usage of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) at first. Then, we will cover one of AWS Networking solutions, AWS Direct Connect, with its technical features and differences while discussing various implementations with on-prem networks.

Bio: Ozan Sazak is a Software Engineer at Edge Delta, mainly focusing on design, deployment and maintenance of Clickhouse database systems on Kubernetes and platform-related tooling. Ozan is interested in technologies like Go, Linux, eBPF, Kubernetes, and concepts around distributed systems
