Title: Architecting Hybrid Cloud: The Integration of On-Premises Networks with AWS Cloud over Direct Connect

Abstract: Networks have been evolving with the power of the cloud for more than a decade. AWS offers secure and seamless integration ways to amplify these networks for a better connected world. In this session, we will walk through the general internetworking principles and the practical usage of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) at first. Then, we will cover one of AWS Networking solutions, AWS Direct Connect, with its technical features and differences while discussing various implementations with on-prem networks.

Title: OpenFaaS for the Curious: How's and Why's

Abstract: Interested in how OpenFaaS works and why it may be a good choice for your next project? In this session we will unpack OpenFaaS's unique benefits, peek under the hood to reveal its architecture, and showcases a hands-on demo on using OpenFaaS to deploy our functions on Kubernetes.

Bio: Ozan Sazak is a Software Engineer at Edge Delta, mainly focusing on design, deployment and maintenance of Clickhouse database systems on Kubernetes and platform-related tooling. Ozan is interested in technologies like Go, Linux, eBPF, Kubernetes, and concepts around distributed systems
