Ready to buy a car? Or maybe you just want to know what to do for the future. How do you decide what you want? What do you look for? How do you know if the car you're looking at is a dud or a winner? How do you walk into a dealership with confidence? How do you get the best price? Where do you go? 

We'll use our own cars as examples of what to look for when you're examining a car. How to tell if the vehicle was taken care of, or if it will probably explode as soon as you drive it off the lot. As we go through, we'll discuss ways we get taken advantage of, what to do on a test drive, and other ways to leave the transaction feeling good about your purchase.

WHAT TO BRING:

 -$10 Cash (if you haven't paid yet, see FAQs for mobile/e-payment options)

-Gloves (work, vinyl, latex, whatever to keep you from getting dirty)

-Flashlight (or phone is fine)

-Any tools you want to use or learn about

-A big piece of cardboard, creeper (the flat rolly thing to lay on to get under the car) or something to lay on if you want to see under the car

Class is 1 hr long. We will park in a (approximately) circle with the fronts all facing each other, pop the hood and discuss, and finish with some Q & A.
