Distance: 6.5 miles
Terrain: Towpath, pavement, trail paths
Join WAMM on a 6.5 mile sunset WAMMble through through Glen Hills Nature Reserve to Aylestone Meadows and back along the Grand Union Canal.
As we are now into September the nights are starting to draw in, although it will be light at the start of the walk, the sun may have set by the end. Please bring a torch with you on the walk. Headtorches are easier to walk with if you have one.
We will start walking promptly at 6.30pm. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to locate us. The walk starts on Blue Banks Avenue in Glen Parva. Use the Google Pin or W3W to find us and plan your journey. There is street parking on nearby roads.

Disclaimer: You are responsible for your own safety. Please ensure you are fit enough to walk the distance, are wearing suitable clothing and have the food and drink supplies that you need.

I'll be checking the weather and flood warnings the night before.
It will be fine in a light drizzle, but I don't think anyone wants to walk through the downpour level we had on Saturday afternoon.
