Community Guidelines π
This community works because we keep it helpful, safe, and spam-free. A few simple rules:
1. Be kind and respectful. We're all in this together β different states, languages, and journeys. No personal attacks, casteism, regionalism, politics-baiting, or harassment. Disagree with the idea, not the person.
2. Help first, promote second. Share genuinely useful things. No spam, MLM, crypto pumps, or random forwards. Self-promotion only in the right feed, and only if it truly helps members.
3. No scams β protect each other. Never share anyone's SSN, bank, or passport details. Be careful with "job offers" that ask for money or fees. If something smells like a scam, report it β we remove it fast.
4. Post in the right feed and add your city tag (like [Dallas], [NJ], [Bay Area]) so people can find it.
5. This is not legal, financial, or immigration advice. We share experiences and general info. For your specific case, talk to a licensed attorney or CPA.
What's welcome: real job leads and referrals, resume/interview help, visa and green-card experiences, apartment and home tips, honest recommendations (grocery, doctors, temples, schools), buy/sell between members, questions of any kind, and encouragement.
What gets removed: spam, ads without permission, scams/fraud, hate or harassment, doxxing or sharing private info, adult content, and repeated off-topic posting.
See something off? Report it or DM a moderator. We aim to be fair, fast, and friendly. Suggestions to improve these rules are always welcome. π
