Even though the importance of soft skills keeps getting the spotlight, one of the main reasons for conflicts and misunderstandings is a lack of communication. Developing them alongside hard skills is crucial for growing into a good specialist - whether you are a Product Owner, Developer, QA, or someone outside the IT industry. The sooner you train yourself there, the better. At the same time, soft skills-related topics are often skipped or treated as something “obvious” - not worthy of study or practice. And let’s be honest, that can be tricky.  

So why don’t we start once again from the basics and look at the recipe together? 

During this talk, we will blend a dash of what active listening is with an ounce of why it’s worth practicing. Then, we will add a spoonful of how it helps develop other soft skills and improve workplace communication and beyond. To finish, we’ll sprinkle some handy tips and tricks for everyday use. Et voila!
