SESSION - Automating Sitecore Component Creation with AI and SiteKit CLI (45min) - Roberto Barbedo
This session will demonstrate how to automate the creation of Sitecore components and its variants from Figma or any other source, from an empty, brand-new Sitecore instance using AI in combination with the SiteKit CLI. The presentation will cover the basics of SiteKit, a custom .NET CLI application that communicates directly with Sitecore without requiring an MCP server.

YAML files define components, templates, and relations in Sitecore. These files are parsed by the CLI and converted into Sitecore items automatically, reducing the complexity of building the multiple item types required for a component or page template. This approach enables AI-assisted tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or others to have a better context of the Sitecore component architecture, and also allow easy manipulation from the tools.
