About Us?
SistersLab - Women's Association in Science and Technology was founded by three sisters in March 2021 to raise awareness of gender equality in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) fields and to ensure the empowerment of girls and women.
The event is not for women. Anyone interested can join!
Agenda
19.00 - 21.00 | In this event, we host experts working in four different branches of STEM fields (Frontend/Backend/Engineering Manager/Cyber Security). In this event, we plan to listen to career stories from professionals in the technology sector and discuss potential roadmaps you can draw for yourself. We plan to make the event interactive with questions from the participants.

Yasemin Arık - Backend Developer at Gastromind
Yasemin Arık is a graduate of Süleyman Demirel University Computer Engineering. She currently works at Gastromind as a Backend Developer. She specializes in backend development, API integrations, system optimization and analysis and development of data flow processes, especially with technologies such as Python and Django.
Gökay Atar | Technical Product Manager& Cyber Security Expert at Brandefense
He is a graduate of computer and software engineering. He has worked on cyber security in various sectors for many years. He continues his career as a technical product manager.
Vuslat Sena Emre | Frontend Developer at NTT Data Business Solutions
Vuslat is a computer engineering graduate and has been working in the field of technology for about 2 years. She improves herself especially in frontend development, web design and product development.
Evren Tan | Engineering Manager at Property Finder & Community Lead at Türkiye Java Community
Evren Tan is a seasoned Software Crafter and Engineering Manager at Property Finder, with over 19 years of experience in the software development sector. As a dedicated Java enthusiast and a proactive member of the tech community, he co-founded and leads the Türkiye Java Community, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among developers. His professional credentials include being a JCP Associate Member, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and TOGAF 9.2 Architect, showcasing his expertise in both software engineering and cloud architecture. Renowned for his significant contributions to the Java and broader software community in Türkiye, Evren's leadership and technical skills continue to drive innovation and excellence in the industry.
Our Difference from Other Events:
- We consider gender equality in our technology meeting events and choose our speakers to ensure this equality.
- We strive to be inclusive. In this context, we offer a playground for children in the event area, in line with the demands of our speaker and participant candidates who have children.
- We are adding vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options to our dining options. In addition, with the form we send before the event, we strive to identify any foods you are allergic to and offer you special options.
