Queue your work: about job queues and abstraction layers
Job queues are an essential part in scaling up your web application. A queue system can help you to keep your application fast without compromising on features. Worry about the work later, happy clients are your most important metric.

During the session we will learn about the different types of queue systems. Code examples of queue implementations for common systems give a hands on experience. The end of the session will cover queue abstraction layers. Abstraction helps to decouple your job queue from your application, to make the system more flexible and scalable.
