With the rise of progressive web apps and the user’s desire to have a fast and interactive web experience, modern frontend frameworks, like React, Vue and Angular, are more important than ever. For optimal performance, accessibility and SEO, there is this thing called “universal rendering”: rendering JavaScript on the client as well as on the server. Using NodeJS, this is incredibly easy. With PHP, being one of the most prevalent backend languages, unfortunately not so much.

In this talk, we are gonna make them match! We will look at different possibilities of integrating modern frontend frameworks with universal rendering in PHP and compare them to each other.
