We have a rather fun way of introducing ourselves to new members of the group!

3:40 PM - 4:00 PM: Orientation + a fun group game

This part of the event will be presented by Nittin(Founder & Organizer) in English. He'll talk about his motivation and spark to keep this passionate techies meetup group alive. He'll also be presenting about the core values and non negotiables that are the foundation of the meetup group.

4:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Mini hands-on workshop on latest AI tools

Requirements:

Need to bring your laptop to the meetup

A registered Microsoft account

Basic JS syntax would be great but not required

No coding experience required

No AI experience required

Description:

Gen AI is the talk of the town now. It's one of the most rapidly growing fields in computer science from the last 1.5 years. Especially since the launch of ChatGPT on November 30 2021. It's getting very tough to track all the advancements in AI. 

In this mini hands-on workshop, you'll first get a general introduction to Gen AI and it's history. Then, you'll learn practically about the basics of prompt engineering using ChatGPT to debug Javascript code. Later, you'll be gaining exposure to latest AI tools in various domains such as image generation, video editing and podcasting.

This talk will be presented in English by Rahul. He is a working as a Senior Developer at Talam, Auroville where he develops software applications, works on proposing new software solutions and mentors some of the team members.

For active involvement in engagement of our discussion, please make sure you listen to episode in advance. We've had experiences where participants have forgot to listen and hence couldn't engage in the discussion.

Description:

We all interpret things in a unique manner that is different from each other. Let's get together to discuss our learnings and interpretations from listening to the latest episode from the podcast Vaanga Pazhagalaam with techies. The idea is to collectively be open-minded and learn together, using the podcast episode as the instrument.

This in-person meetup is for all the passionate techies speaking Tamil in Pondicherry & Auroville to come together, share knowledge and grow along the way.
