We're back!

The Australian Urban Research Infrastructure Network (AURIN) has generously agreed to partner with Maptime Melbourne to help out with some data collection and improvement for projects that they are working on.

What we will be doing

AURIN are currently undertaking some really interesting projects and need our help!

Some AURIN staff members will be on hand to explain the project and how we can help. We will then begin the task and see how much we can do on the day.

This event will be followed up with related workshops and activities to help get as much of the project done as possible.

What to bring

Please bring a laptop/tablet with you. We cannot provide computers at the venue. We also recommend bringing a mouse - it makes mapping a lot easier than a touchpad.

Wifi and some powerpoints will be available at the venue.

But I have never mapped before! Can I still come?

Of course! Everyone of all experience is welcome. We will have a quick crash course in OpenStreetMap to get everyone up to speed during the workshop so don't panic. Just come along and help us out.
