Hello, 

JavaScript for English Speakers is organized to accommodate English speakers to join JavaScript communities in Ankara. There are JavaScript meetups in Ankara; however, their events, functions and activities are mainly in the Turkish language, which is naturally normal.

With the growth of foreigners in Ankara, especially international students, it is, therefore, helpful to provide an environment to help English speakers to meet, connect, network, learn and pursue their passion for JavaScript.

JavaScript for English speakers is primarily for learning JavaScript; therefore, meetups and events activities will be mainly to help members learn and share their knowledge of the language and its ecosystem. Consequently, we shall focus on the following:

Vanilla JavaScript (pure JavaScript),

Front end frameworks (e.g. React, Angular and Vue)

Back end (Node)

Development tools and environments (IDE ( VS Code, Web storm, etc.) , Web pack, Babel etc.)

Who can join JavaScript for English Speakers?

Everyone can join as long as they meet the following:

• Love JavaScript (beginners, professionals, experts – ALL)
• Can communicate in English.
