Greetings to you all who have signed up on this platform for news about our IRE / NICAR Seattle meetups.
Our spring event will be Saturday, April 20, for a picnic and walk around Green Lake, and we'd particularly like to invite students who are interested in investigative journalism. More on that to come.
In other journalism news, this evening SPJ Western WA is hosting its first mixer of the year: Thursday, Feb. 15 at 6:30 PM just down the street from the KUOW offices at the College Inn Pub.
And there's a good mix of reporter and editor openings right now here at The Seattle Times. Feel free to pass around, and happy to talk about any of them or the newsroom. DM me on LinkedIn or email [email protected].
