Hurdler Studios is a Product Design and User Experience consultancy based in Vancouver, Canada. Early this year we set out to create a Kickstarter Campaign with the simple purpose of growing our profile and showing the world that good design can be found in Vancouver. Several product concepts and a few happy accidents later, we came up with CLUG - The Clip that Gives your Bike a Hug.
We learned a lot about ourselves and how the world of Crowdfunding through platforms like Kickstarter works. We didn’t realize how much work it was going to be to get it right. We also didn't realize how much fun it was going to be reaching, and surpassing, our funding goal.

Jon Winebrenner is the founder of Hurdler Studios, a ProdUX Design Consultancy based in Vancouver, Canada. He is a staunch advocate of design and its importance to the future success of Vancouver’s business community.
Hurdler has also crafted the world’s smallest bike rack called CLUG which went on to raise over $100K on Kickstarter and was described by FastCo Magazine as "the first 3D printed product they would actually buy”.
Jon has been active in the International Design Community as a delegate for the International Council for the Societies of Industrial Design (ICSID) as well as speaking globally on the topic of Design.
