Jenneil Peters, Founder of Modern Working Woman and Modern Marketing, has an impressive history of success in social media marketing. She has been working as an entrepreneur since 2007, starting her work in the trade show industry. Her work with the Babywearing Canada Conference & Show, the Ellevate Women in Business Conference & Show, and the Bellies to Babies Celebration Tradeshow taught her firsthand the importance of face-to-face marketing. She then applied this experience to her online efforts.

In 2007, when many social networks were still in their early stages of growth, Peters became the Co-Owner of the Westcoast Moms Network. She applied what she knew about face-to-face marketing to the online domain, and the site flourished. In 2009, she began working on Modern Working Woman, and in 2012 she started up Modern Marketing. Both of these businesses rely heavily on Twitter and other social media platforms to spread the word. She has even taken to Pinterest, one of the newest social media star sites, to engage her audience.
