Sergey Kargopolov is a Web Developer at Earthlandia Technologies Inc, a Social Web Applications development company based in Vancouver BC. He’s been building Web sites since 1996 when studying Computer Science at San Carlos University in Philippines and serving as Web Developer at University based Center for Network Management and Services.

After graduating from University Sergey worked as lead Web Developer and built several well known in Kazakhstan Internet Services like Kupida - a very first e-commerce web site and National Internet Award winner. Zigzag.kz - Professional Online Photo Hosting and Printing service built entirely on Amazon Cloud Compute Infrastructure and two times National Internet Award winner.

In addition to building web sites Sergey is very interested in Web site optimization and prefers to make data driven decisions. For that he mainly uses three products from Google which are Google Webmaster Tools, Google Website Optimizer and Google Analytics.

It is my belief that Analytics is the one thing every business owner should know how to control, to track, measure and understand the results of their websites performance. For anyone that has talked to Sergey the past few months you will know he has a passion for teaching people about Google Analytics. This will be a session you will not want to miss.
