Kommunities and Events: Content Policies
From the very start, our mission as Kommunity is to build a platform for people who’d like to grow, inspire, share and have fun. We are aware of the importance of being together, being a kommunity.
To provide our users and kommunities a healthy environment to grow and connect, we expect our kommunities and organizers to pay attention to some requirements.
What makes a good kommunity:
A Kommunity should be a space where people in some way could improve themselves. The time spent at the events of your kommunity should be beneficial. This can be in the form of learning something, meeting new people, improving yourself, or just having a good time. We can exemplify these situations as follows:
- A book discussion meeting for people who love to read
- A yoga training session for those who want to learn how to do yoga
- A tournament for video game players
- A workshop on healthy eating
- A mixer for university students
- A conference about suggestions for career development
All these events aim for people to spend their time in a valuable and enjoyable way.

What makes a good event:
Kommunity is a platform that can be used not only for individuals but also for businesses. However, it should be noted that the content of the events should not be about advertising. For example, an art studio can organize a sculpture workshop, but it should not organize an event that only informs participants about course fees and discounts.
You should turn to content that people would like to participate in and have a good time with.
Prohibited content and activities on Kommunity
❌Illegal content:
Any illegal and unethical practice or action is absolutely prohibited on Kommunity. We by no means condone or allow such things on our platform in order to protect our users.
Your kommunity’s and event’s purpose and intention must be always clear and consistent.
Your activities and posts should not go beyond the purpose of your kommunity or abuse users' trust.
❌Incentives for violence:
You may not, in any way, produce or share content that incites violence in any way, either explicitly or implicitly.

- P rovocation against various individuals or groups
- D erogatory statements against people's race, religion, language, sect and sexual orientation
- C ontent encouraging the use of illegal weapons
- A ny statements supporting terrorist organizations
- A nimal abuse
- S exual abuse
and such illegal activities are strictly forbidden without exception.
❌Under 18 participation:
Kommunity offers countless opportunities for anyone to participate and have a good time, yet we expect our members and organizers to be at least 18 years old.
Individuals under the age of 18 can participate in the events under parental supervision.
Any inappropriate behavior engaging minors will not be tolerated.
❌Giving wrong information and misdirection:

It is strictly forbidden to include pornographic content and to share publicly nude or sexual photos on Kommunity.
Nudity and sexual content should not be visible to the public. Any mature kommunity should clearly mention its purpose and focus in the kommunity description so members could have prior knowledge about what they are joining.
❌Ambiguous and disturbing sexual content:
If your kommunity's focus is about nudity or sexuality you should set your kommunity's visibility to private. All content of such kommunities should be monitored by kommunity organizers.
As mentioned before, we expect our mature kommunities to meet certain requirements. In this sense, the consent of the members via transparency is a must. Kommunity description must clearly explain the purpose of the kommunity and its activities. Any unclear or suspicious activity that may upset members is strictly prohibited.
