Game-itoba is happening this weekend! Jan 24-26. GAME-ITOBA – Winnipeg's Gaming Convention

This is a board game convention, where dozens upon dozens of board games will be played, at the same time! Here is the general schedule, and cost to get in:

• Jan 24, Friday, 6PM-12:30AM. $20
• Jan 25, Saturday, 9AM-12:30AM. $35
• Jan 26, Sunday, 9AM-4:30PM. $20

Or you can get a weekend pass which is $40. Weekend pass can be bought here: game.aduck.ca, or you can show up and pay *cash* at the door (both weekend and daily).

You can grab one of the free games supplied by the convention (list here: Game Library – GAME-ITOBA), and then find a free table. There is also a long list of Scheduled Games to be run by GMs (list found here: game.aduck.ca/everything.php), but you will need to get that season pass first, to get a badge number, then you can reserve a spot online.

Speaking of scheduled games

-Stuart is showing off a game he created! Knick-Knack Grannywhack (TABLE FULL) You play as a bunch of old ladies fighting over knickknacks at a garage sale. For Saturday, Stuart booked 2 slots: 10:30AM-12:30PM, and then 12:30-1:30PM (and one more time on Sunday, see below)

-Sebastian also wants to play some more Catan (with maybe a scenario to spice things up). This is scheduled for 1:30-3:30PM. And then after that, is Catan: Starfarers, scheduled 3:30-6:30PM.
