DevOpsDays Istanbul 2018 ardından gerçekleşecek ilk etkinliğimiz için benzer iki konuyu farklı oturumlarla başlatma ve roadmap belirleme olarak iki öz konuyla başlıyoruz.

Konuşmacılarımızın ikisi de uzaklardan geliyor. İlk oturum Türkçe olacak ardından İngilizce olarak devam edeceğiz. Huawei Türkiye Ar-Ge merkezinin ev sahipliğinde gerçekleşecek olan etkinliğimiz için sürpriz hediyelerimiz olacak ayrıca Uzunçayır'dan servis kaldırılacak. Servis kalkış yerini alt bölüme ekliyoruz.

Establishing DevOps automation & lifecycle from zero
This talk is an experience report about how we established a DevOps process in a company where automation and DevOps practices were close to zero. The talk is based on tradeoffs with experience instead of just buzzwords and importance of analyzing organizational requirements.
"When you search DevOps in the web, you will find lots of results talking about best practices and best tools to use. When it comes to executing, the reality is a lot different. You may establish every best practice there is, but it may not be a good lifecycle or it may not fit the team.

This talk emphasizes the necessity of understanding organizational constraints, key points to consider while establishing DevOps lifecycle, the stages of establishing this lifecycle, and real-life experiences in the first part. The second part is a real-life experience report the tools used in this process, such as Go, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Slack, Docker, and more.

Attendees will have an idea about the difference between happy path scenarios and real-life implementations."
