This is not an official meetup event, but since this is a new pet related event, I thought I would put it out there. You can bring your pets to the event (but not into the grocery store.) They will be having a variety of pet vendors and a costume contest. There is a waiver and admission is $2.50.

Join us at Jungle Jim’s in Fairfield for a day devoted to our precious pets! Dogs, cats, birds and their people are invited to come on out to mingle with vendors and pet professionals, enjoy live entertainment, family-friendly activities and more! Everyone will go home with a ton of free samples and possibly an entire shopping cart full of pet supplies! And if you don’t already have a pet or are considering adding a new furry family member, you can come meet dozens of homeless pets from our community looking for their forever home.

The Pet Costume Contest will be held on August 2 at 1:00pm at Jungle Jim's Garden Center. Registration will take place from 11:00am until 1:00pm. A $5 registration is required for each pet in the contest. Each registered pet owner will receive a goodie bag including treats and surprises from our sponsors.

Dr Insecta will feature his Insecta Dome-A-Rama and Spider Stroll.
