Hi! I'm Larry, fairly new to Nelson myself and have no mates here. I ran a group like this on Meetup in Wellington and made lots of friends having fun exploring the region and thought I'd try the same here.
I'm trying out Kommunity as it's pretty much Meetup but free. Why not mooch off Esther's hard work with Trail Walking Nelson on Facebook? Well I hope to collaborate there, I love Esther's vibe, but Facebook does require an account which is not to every Nelson cookers' taste, you can't limit attendance and I like small groups.
So if you'd like to go exploring in small groups around Nelson bushlands, learn some bushcraft skills and keep fit over winter and beyond, please do. I'd love to see you - if people come along I can't bail last-minute, which is a tendency I have with my solo plans!
