Happy Chinese New Year!

This marks the start of the Year of the Dragon at Salsa Duello. Come and check out the special performance that they have lined up at Salsa Duello, but not before we enjoy some Bubble Tea at

Well Tea BCIT (551 Seymour St, at Dunsmuir St; http://www.welltea.ca... ) at 7 PM.

After bubble tea, we will then walk over one block to Academie Duello (412 West Hastings at Homer St.) at 8:45 PM

to take in some complimentary Salsa dance lessons and practice our new moves on the hardwood dance floor.

For those who want to skip Bubble Tea and go directly for dancing, please meet us in Academie Duello at 8:45 PM.

There will be complimentary beginner and intermediate lessons all conducted simultaneously at 9 PM:

• 9PM – Three concurrent lessons:

1) Salsa Rueda (for everyone) conducted by Michael Rosen,

2) Intermediate pattern and footwork by Patrick and Scarlett, and

3) Ladies styling and footwork by Becka (of Seattle Latin Dance).

• 10PM - DJ Choco and DJ Roger playing the best of Salsa music.

• 11:15PM - Burju Giveaway. Special performance by Grupo America. Choose your level and dance away!

If you RSVP by 9 PM this Wednesday, Jan. 25, your name will be entered into a random draw for 1 EARLY BIRD VIP ticket (Yes! That means FREE admission!).

The lucky winner will be contacted via email through this meet-up on that same evening, and the winning ticket can be picked up at the door on Salsa night at Academie Duello.

Cover charge for the entire event is $10. In/out privileges available.
