Weekend Road Trip to Kamloops October 25 to October 27

Kamloops is a small city surrounded by nature parks, forests and lakes. It's nice to go there from time to time to 'get away and recharge' in a short yet-refreshing trip. I'm going to Kamloops again this October 25 to 27 and I have a few friends who will be joining me, some to also hang out and relax, and others to do some photography there.

I thought it would be a good idea to make an open invitation and see who would be interested in joining us.

The dates are Saturday, October 26th and Sunday, October 27th (we may drive up Friday and spend two nights there). During this time, and depending on the interests of the people who come, we may arrange several activities or may just hangout in the area and have dinner.

I choose this time because the weather is still good. In November it will suddenly get cold and may even snow in Kamloops. If it is raining this weekend, we will still go up.

I can help arrange carpooling and I get a special rate at the Ramada Hotel in Kamloops. You can come up on the Friday and return to Vancouver on the Sunday (afternoon) or arrange your own transportation come up on Saturday morning and return on Sunday.

*We need cars and drivers! If you don’t mind driving people up to Kamloops (it’s a 3.5 hour drive), then please let me know!

What is the cost? I will ask you for a $20 admin fee to arrange the weekend, but after that it’s the actual costs of what you do. i.e. you pay the costs of your food, hotel, split the gas with the car, etc…

Basically I will arrange the travel and hotel for you, but feel free to make your own arrangements for this as well, I don’t mind.
