Online presence is a vital part of a business whether you cater to local customers or on a global scale. By just having a website alone does not mean people will come to see it. “If you build it, they will come” saying does not work here.
One of the most effective ways to get visitors to your website is to have it highly ranked on page one of Google for your desire keywords. The method of accomplishing this is called Search Engine Optimization or SEO for short.
In this workshop, you’ll get introduced to the initial part of two parts of SEO. This part is called On-site optimization where you’ll need to optimize your site to tell Google what it is about and why it should be considered for highly ranked when Google bot comes to crawl your site.
Effective keywords research and selection will also be shown as well. Not only that, I’ll also show you what keyword to use where so your site would rank accordingly. In other words, placing keywords strategically. At the same time, I’ll also introduce you to internal linking and how powerful it can be.
After the event, go home and implement what you've learned here and see what kind of improvement in rankings you get. Sometimes this might just be enough to get you page one rankings…if your keywords are not global and too competitive.
Whether you want to learn SEO to improve rankings in Google for your own site or just love to learn SEO, this initial part to SEO is not to be missed. Do not let the title fool you.
