Vancouver has been called Hollywood North for a long time now due to the fact that many major feature film, Netflix and TV productions are being shot right here. Currently there are 54 productions happening in town right now and new ones are coming in every week.

With so many productions are being shot here, have you ever thought of going on the movie sets as a background performer and see how movies are being made? Perhaps you already have been on sets before and caught the acting bug but not sure how to go about pursuing an acting career?

I remember my first time on a movie set I was blown away by how a spectacular movie scene was filmed. The simplicity and creativity of how it was all set up was so clever. Did you know that many daylight scenes in a movie were actually shot on a closed set indoor?… not to mention the green screen with CGI.

In this Free meetup event, I’ll show you how to go about getting yourself on to the movie sets, as a paid background performer through an All Asians Talent Agency, to see how movie scenes are filmed. Not only that, I’ll also provide valuable tips on to how to pursue an acting career if you chose to do so. These tips might not make you the next big movie star but it will give you the directions and steps you need to take to get started.

I’ll also show you how I fluke out and landed a role with an actual speaking line on a big budget international commercial with a Hong Kong Superstar. It was so much fun with good pay, and an experience that I’ll never forget. Never thought such things can happen until it happened to me...and it could happen to you too!

With Asian movies getting more popular in North America in recent years, and the success of Crazy Rich Asians, there are now more demands for Asian actors and background performers of all ages. If you have the desire to see what movie sets are like or perhaps pursuing an acting career, then you need to be at this event.

You'll have a great time and an experience that you'll never forget being on a movie set. Imagine going to see that actual movie and see yourself on the gigantic Silver Screen. How cool is that!

If you think you've got what it takes to appear in commercials, even for overseas HK productions, or in films then you definitely want to be at this meetup!
