Hi everyone, Happy New Year and welcome to 2019!

I hope you had a nice holidays. I just got back from 10 weeks in China and have big plans for this year.

I'm also planning a number of events between now and March, such as:

*A few more social bubble tea events with either discussions or board games.
*An event next week to talk about Globalization and business opportunities in China.
*Chinese New Year Dinner (would someone like to host this one?)
*Social and Dating event prior to Valentines Day
*And a few more surprises (people are always asking for dinners, movies and karaoke, if you'd like to host, please let me know).

Note: I'm looking for some native Mandarin speakers to help practice speaking and vocabulary. If you don't mind to help, please let me know!

AT THE MOMENT, I'D LIKE TO INVITE YOU to join our "First Social of the year! Bubble tea, Board games, Learning Mandarin and more!" at Sunflower Cafe beside Joyce Skytrain Station, this Friday, January 4th at 630pm.

What we'll do is chat about our New Years resolutions/Goals for this year, about Mandarin language learning, and play board games (we’ll have Scrabble and Settlers of Cattan there, or you can bring your own game).
Please buy a drink or food. In fact, I'll be there early to order one of their decent dishes.

No charge for the event, except for your own food/drink.
