July 9 – Despicable Me (2010)

Each Thursday evening at dusk, Fresh Air Cinema will project a popular film on their large inflatable screen.

As a general reminder, please bring your own blankets or lawn chairs (a must), otherwise you’ll be sitting on the cement. It gets a bit chilly at night, so make sure you bundle up to stay warm (or bring a hoodie). Please also keep in mind that this is a family-friend event – **smoking or alcohol is not permitted**.

Waterfront Cinema at Canada Place presented by Port Metro Vancouver
When: July 9

Start time: Dusk (approximately 9:15pm movie will start)

Where: North Point of Canada Place

**Movies will be cancelled in the case of rain and rescheduled for a later date**

I will be there around 7:30pm-8pm to find a spot. I'll also bring some cards/games to play while we wait for the movie to start. I'll bring a blanket, but I don't know how many people are coming, so please bring one if you have one!

Hopefully everyone can RSVP at least 2 days before the event so I have an idea of how much space to save. Also if anyone can meet me earlier that would be great. Holding off space by myself is going to be quite the challenge...

I will be taking transit there, so if anyone wants to meet at Waterfront station around 7:30pm-8pm, let me know.

Feel free to bring snacks/beverages for yourselves or to share while you watch the movie (no alcohol! no drugs!). Please dispose of your waste after the movie to keep the venue clean.

Other than that, please arrive on time! Enjoy meeting new people and the film!

By RSVPing, you are responsible for yourself. If you arrive late, I cannot guarantee you a spot unfortunately as this is a popular event. So do try to come early. And be respectful of other attendees that are not part of this meetup when you attend the event. Thanks!

Hope to see you guys soon! :D
