WEATHER PERMITTING (or I will postpone to the following Saturday if the weather forecast takes a turn for the worse)

Weather is getting nicer and it's time to head out to do more outdoor activities! For those who have not been around the Stanley Park Seawall, it is a nice, scenic 8.8km route around one of Vancouver's most beautiful parks. There are numerous bike rental places around the meeting area, but the one I have chosen is:
Bikes and Blades - 718 Denman St (Denman and Alberni)

Rental Rates (minimum 1.5 hours rental) Regular Bike
$9.00 for 1.5 hours rental
$12.00 for 2 hours rental

Tandem Bikes (2 seats)
$16.50 for 1.5 hours rental
$22.00 for 2 hours rental

Or, if you have your own bike, you can bring that also and that will be FREE.

For those who prefer to drive there, there is some street parking right outside the start of the route (on Denman, past W.Georgia) for $2.00/hr, otherwise the parking lot there is $3.25/hr, or the #19 Stanley Park bus will take you right to the entrance also (make sure you get off before you head INTO Stanley Park!)

Depending on the group size, we may split off into two groups. One group will the a slower, more scenic group (~1hr to 1hr 15mins to go around) and the other will be a faster speed group (~30-45 mins to go around, maybe twice) DISCLAIMER: Helmets are MANDATORY for all biking activities in Vancouver. For your own safety, you should wear one, but it is up to you.
