Its that time again. Who wants to join me in donating blood? It could not be a more fitting month. Let us remember the people who sacrificed their lives for us. Let's do our part to sacrifice a little blood to save the lives of some who may need it. The holidays and winter weather are just around the corner.

Please do not rsvp unless you can commit.

For November 22, I’ve reserved our group appointments for 3:10-3:40. Each donation takes about an hour – hour and 15 minutes. We take donors in every 5 minutes or so.

· be 110lbs or more.

· bring photo ID

· Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! and eat something before coming in - the blood flows faster and the donor doesn't feel as tired after donating.

· If they've been to Mexico, China, India, or other malaria-risk countries in the last year (365 days), to please call[masked]-DONATE and press 4 to speak with a nurse (just to double check). Same goes if they're unsure about medication.

· new tattoos and piercings - wait 6 months before donating

· If they're sick with a cold or flu, cannot donate
